_      15" Matilda has made a new friend at the beach! Matilda is made from a lightly distressed tan German mohair that is both soft and dense. (It has a comforting, nostalgic feel to it.) She has amethyst-colored glass eyes, tan wool felt paw pads, and an embroidered nose and mouth. I stuffed Matilda's body softly with poly and pellets, so she's delightfully squishy in the middle, and I used delicate shading on her face and paw pads.
     Matilda is wearing a hand-knitted 1920's style swim dress. Her seahorse Cecil was handmade by Torquay Teddies in the UK. _ 14" Elodie is ready for some autumn snuggling. She is made from a soft, wavy German mohair in cream with dark-brown tips. Scissor-sculpting of her face and front paws revealed the lighter color. She has topaz-colored glass eyes, cotton velvet paw pads, and an embroidered nose, mouth, and claws (on her front paws). Elodie is stuffed medium-firm and has a bit of heft to her, so she's nice to hold. She is wearing a hand-knitted cardigan.
